ART IN ATX is Austin's themed art market series — curated vendors, live art activities, and DJ sets, since 2015.

ART IN ATX: Austin's Curated Art Market Series

ART IN ATX is a series of themed art markets held throughout the year in Austin, Texas, bringing together local vendors, artisans, and makers for a day (or evening) of shopping, live music, and hands-on creativity. Hosted by The Gallery ATX, a woman-powered nonprofit supporting emerging artists since 2015, each market is thoughtfully curated to showcase the depth of Austin's creative community — from painters and jewelry makers to zine artists and small-batch designers.

Every ART IN ATX market features a DJ set, family-friendly art activity tables led by local artists, and a rotating lineup of vendors selected to keep the shopping experience fresh and locally rooted. Markets take place at Austin venues like Central Machine Works and Moontower Cider Company, with seasonal themes throughout the year — from Halloween to the holidays.

For local artists and makers, ART IN ATX is a low-barrier way to sell work, build an audience, and connect with fellow Austin creatives. For shoppers, it's a chance to support local talent while enjoying a full day of art, music, and community. This project is supported in part by an Elevate grant from Austin Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment.

Interested in joining as a vendor, leading an activity table, or hosting a market at your venue? We have two more markets for 2027. Send us an email if you are interested!

What is ART IN ATX

CURATed VENDORS

Every maker at ART IN ATX is hand-selected, not first-come, first-served. We curate a mix of mediums and price points so the market stays fresh, high-quality, and worth the trip — for shoppers and vendors alike.

ACTIVITY TABLES

Art isn't just for looking at — it's for making. Local artists lead hands-on activity tables at every market, giving kids and adults alike a chance to create something of their own alongside the shopping.

DJ Sets / live music

A DJ set runs the whole day, turning a market into an experience. It's what keeps people browsing longer, sticking around, and coming back — good for the vibe, and good for vendor sales.
