ART IN ATX is a series of Austin-based themed art markets held throughout the year showcasing local Texas vendors, artisans, creators and makers with live music, food, and all around good vibes. Through ART IN ATX, emerging artists can sell work, gain exposure, and contribute to our vibrant artistic community.

Mujer Manifesto is a Texas-based feminist zine committed to celebrating the voices of women and nonbinary creatives. In highlighting varied narratives, we attempt to challenge the conventional binaries through critical social inquiry while striving to be an inclusive space to all.

FILM IN ATX is our annual short film festival celebrating emerging Austin filmmakers. Four years of short films. Hundreds of Austin voices on screen.

Our last ART IN ATX market of 2026 will be the best yet! We are coming back to Central Machine Works with curated makers and creatives from the Austin community, a live DJ set, and art activity tables for the whole family led by local Austin-based artists.

The Gallery ATX presents Studio Works, a one-day open studio for artists who don't have one.
Most working artists in Austin don't have a dedicated studio. They make work in bedrooms, at kitchen tables, and on apartment floors, so the public rarely gets to see how their art actually gets made. On Sunday, November 22, the closing day of Austin Studio Tour, 8 local artists are bringing their studios outside and recreating them in the backyard of Central Machine Works.
Each pop-up studio is built around three things: art to see, art to buy, and a piece of the artist's practice, from sketchbooks and reference photos to the tools and materials they use every day. Watch a pen plotter draw code-generated geometry in ink, see slip casting and tape-resist glazing on ceramics, follow an oil still life from sketch to painting, and make your own collage or cyanotype print alongside the artists.
Pick up a passport at The Gallery ATX table, then visit every studio to collect a sticker designed by each artist. By the end of the afternoon, you'll have your own set of original mini artworks from Austin artists. Passports are free; suggested donations at the table support The Gallery ATX's emerging-artist programming.
Artists will also make new work live throughout the day. Those pieces will be auctioned at the end of the event, with a portion of proceeds supporting The Gallery ATX's emerging-artist programming.
Free and open to all ages.

In exploration of the internal shifts that define us, "Metamorphosis" seeks to archive the evolution of the self and the continuous process of becoming.The prompt is open to interpretation, but possible lenses include: internal shifts, changes in perspectives, the pang of leaving or returning, shedding old skin, and the continuous rebuilding of self.
